4) ALESSIA CARA

The Canadian singer is only 19 years old and has already reached the top 5 in America with best known hit ‘Here’. Her R&B/pop genre is set to make her the next big star as she supports some of the world’s biggest music acts, such as Coldplay.

Holly Lapsley Fletcher is an English singer, songwriter and musician born in York. She released her debut album, Long Way Home in March 2016 and you may have heard her in the Radio 1 Live Lounge.

8) ZARA LARSSON

Swedish singer-songwriter, Zara Larsson became recognized for her talent in 2008 when she won Sweden’s version of Got Talent. She has become very well known in Sweden, Denmark and Norway but become recognizable in the UK with the release of her single Lush Life where it reached the top 5.

American pop rock band DNCE released their debut single ‘Cake by the Ocean’ in late 2015 and has since become the hit of the summer. If you haven’t heard this song…where have you been? The band’s lead singer is Jonas brother star, Joe Jonas who has brought the media’s attention to the band.

Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie met at Leeds University through their mutual love of drum and bass, there they formed Sigma. The duo has since collaborated with Paloma Faith, Take That and Ella Henderson. Expect even more big hits from Sigma in the future.
